BOCA RATON- Trinity Christian's cross country team made history on Tuesday as they brought home the program's first-ever district title.  All five TCA runners finished in the top 11 as the Warriors edged runners-up Highlands Christian 40-55 in District 14.

Junior Luke D'Orazio had his best race of the season, coming in third with a personal record of 20:38.  He closed nearly 50 yards in the last quarter mile of the race to nab the third spot.  Eighth grader Chris Gunterman had another solid race, finishing in seventh place with a personal record of his own with a time of 21:19.  Freshman Logan Fyke,  junior Xavier Jackson, and senior Jaiden Santiago finished in ninth, tenth, and eleventh places respectively to close out the championship run for the Warriors.

On the girls' side, junior Eva Zelaya finished sixth and advanced to the regional round as well.  The team will run in Region 4 on November 7 at South Fork.
