LAKE WORTH- Rumi Martie scored two goals and the Trinity Christian defense posted another strong outing as TCA downed Glades Day 2-1 on Tuesday. The game was the Warriors first since the start of the semester and they improved to 7-3 overall.

Martie got on the board early as he slipped a shot past the keeper at the 15 minute mark of the game.  He found the net again six minutes later. The Warriors continued to pepper the goal with shots, but they could not find the back of the net again.

Two goals would be all they needed, however. Goalie Judah Lopez stopped nine shots and allowed only a late goal.  It was the fifth straight game in which the defense has allowed one or less goals.

The Warriors take on Somerset Key on Thursday evening at home.
