POMPANO BEACH- After an 0-3 start, Trinity Christian needed a big win.  They got one on Saturday morning in the HCA Invite as the Warriors knocked off the hosts Highlands Christian 28-26, 25-22 for their first win of the season.

Freshman Sofia de los Mozos led the way for the Warriors, piling up four aces and two kills in the win.  She was named team MVP for the tournament.  Sophomore Camila Fundora added five kills for TCA.

The Warriors finished fourth overall in the tournament, placing ahead of Highlands and Berean Christian in the six-team field.  Trinity will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to West Palm Beach to take on Berean.
