LAKE WORTH- Trinity Christian picked up their first win over Berean Christian in nearly a decade on Tuesday as the Warriors escaped the Bulldogs 60-58. Up two in the waning moments, the swarming TCA defense forced a jump ball with less than a second to go to pick up the biggest win of the season to date.

The Warriors continued a recent trend of dominating the glass, piling up a school record 51 rebounds to the Bulldogs 30. Tristan Gee took advantage of his 14 rebounds, scoring 24 points with several on second chances. Vonte Allen grabbed a season-high 15 boards to go along with 7 points. Justin Wiggins dropped in 15 points and Joshua Joseph added 12.

TCA built a 10-point fourth quarter leader, but Berean hit a flurry of threes to tie the game in the final minute. Gee and Wiggins hit key free throws to give the Warriors the lead, and the defense stood tall to earn the win. The last win over Berean came in February 2012. The Warriors are now 3-1 in 2020. They will take on Morningside Academy for Homecoming on Friday night.
