BOCA RATON- Trinity Christian will look to highlight a breakout season on Tuesday as they try to bring home the school's first district championship in boys' cross country.

With just five runners on the roster, the Warriors three wins this season have been a total team effort.  They will need that same consistent effort on Tuesday to win the newly restructured district 14.  The field includes Berean Christian, Highlands Christian, Atlantic Christian, Boca Raton Christian, and St. John Paul II.  TCA has defeated the first four teams in multiple races this fall. St. John Paul II has a deep roster, but the Warriors times this season appear to make them one of the favorites to claim the district title.

Eighth grader Chris Gunterman and freshman Logan Fyke have burst on to the scene this fall as the top runners for the Warriors.  The two have battled for the top spot among TCA finishers this season with both runners posting sub-21:00 times.  Junior Luke D'Orazio and senior Jaiden Santiago have clocked in at just under 22:00, and junior Xavier Jackson has consistently finished in the middle of the pack to propel the Warriors up the leader board.

On the girls' side, junior Eva Zelaya is the lone runner for the Warriors.  She has dropped her time this season by eight minutes and will look to advance to the regional round as an at large competitor.  The top four finishers that are not on a regional team will advance to the next round.

The top three teams will advance to the regional round.  Race time is set for 11:00 am on Tuesday at South County Park.
