LAKE WORTH- Trinity Christian defeated Donna Klein in a shootout in the district championship, winning the program's tenth district title and the first since 2017.  Logan Colella scored a goal in the waning moments of overtime to force a shootout and then knocked home the winner in penalties.

After a 2-4-1 first half of the season, the Warriors came to life in the second half of the year.  The Warriors had won six out of seven games headed into the district championship against upstart Donna Klein.  The Eagles upset top-seeded Berean in the semi-final round and proved to be more than formidable opponent for the Warriors.  Scoreless headed into overtime, DKA drove home a goal late in the first extra period to put TCA on the ropes.  Colella's heroics with less than five minutes to go gave the Warriors new life.  Senior goalie Alejandro Moscoso came up big in the shoot out saving two Eagles attempts before Colella sealed the championship.

The Warriors move on to regional play to take on Highlands Christian next Wednesday.  The teams met in December with the Knights winning a tight 2-1 game.
